Steps To Enable Online Order Tracking On Your Shopify Website


  1. Go to the Orders section and click on orders from your store’s admin credentials.
  2. Click on the option that says, “Mark as fulfilled” to fulfill your order.
  3. Now, you will get to a Fulfillment page to fulfill your order and will come across an empty box, for the tracking of your package. On this page, put in the tracking number that you have. Shopify will try and recognize the carrier that you are using automatically by identifying the unique number associated with the carriers.
  4. If the carrier that you have opted for, is not supported by Shopify, you will need to select Other, under the Shipping Carrier drop-down menu. Once you select Other, you should see a pop-up that has your Tracking URL underneath. This is for you to provide the link to your customers to track their respective orders.
  5. The last step is to click on the Fulfill Items option, when you fulfill the order through that option, the customer is going to receive a shipping confirmation email from your website through Shopify. In that email, customers will get a link that redirects them to a tracking page and helps them in getting live updates about the status of their order.
